A silly observation of sorts...

If any of you ever want to see just how silly I can be without enough proper sleep, or if I'm just in a plain bad mood...well mosey on over to http://livejournal.com/shadowmystere and you'll see me at my worst. Especially tonight. For some reason I've been in a real PITA mood and snarking on just about everything under the sun.

The only other place would be hmm...guess the http://www.360.yahoo.com/blfoxxe http://www.360.yahoo.com/aidylaurban and http://www.360.yahoo.com/nyghtroamyrmystic and I do post at those three the most often with this one and the livejournal coming in close second, when I remember they exist.

*Yawn*

Well this time I will see if I can finally get some rest. I just need those characters screaming in my head to shut the crap up before I do something nasty to them later on that they'll regret. Notice I said them, not me. If I'm in a nice enough mood at a later date I might resucitate them or not. *shrug*

I'm an evil dame when I'm in the wrong mood at the wrong time with too much time on my hands...

Updates of sorts...

My life has become very interesting. I have many projects in progress going on. Sometimes the days go fast, sometimes they go slow. Other days I don't even remember occurring. What I do know...well, I'm not sure what will happen with the future.

Changes that have come about...

blfoxxe has a 360 yahoo thing
aidylaurban has a 360 yahoo thing
both of those are linked to a nyghtroamyrmystic yahoo id that is for yim. It is the most common one used.

Why haven't I posted? Been doing revisions for this that and the other and looking for files that go missing at the worst of times. I'll admit it, I'm not the most organized person around, but I know where I generally put my story files because they are IMPORTANT to my livelihood. Granted, I suppose the caps wasn't necessary but I felt like using them.

Other issues that have been nagging at me. Just things I'm reading in various oddball groups that I've joined with other great authors. Angela Knight, Ciar Cullen to name a few. Other groups I've joined for other reasons, I'm still with.

I think what bugs me most is when I hear of some pscyho idiots attending funerals just to cause problems for the bereaved. The reason: Oh well, the soldiers in question were gay, lesbian, and they're all going to hell.

Excuse me? What the heck does that have to do with the fact that they were soldiers who fought in Iraq?

I applaud the Patriot Guard that answers calls and requests to barricade those funerals of soldiers for families that have enough grief in their lives without those jokers adding their angle. I'd hate for those folks to come to VA. They wouldn't last long.

That's just the tip of the iceberg in some respects. Though some issues I'm not going to touch on. Just not in the mood. There are some people out there that aren't worth ranting about because y'know what? In the end, they'll get what is coming to them.

Karma will come around its only a matter of time.

Now if I could only learn how to friend people on this thing, hmmm...

Goofy Contest Going On!

Hey all!

Ever wanted to have an experience of reading really bad cliches written by authors who were challenged to deliberately add them in along with gratuitous sex?

Well in eXtasyChatters's Link you all can read exactly what challenged writers, inspired by a great editor Stefani Kelsey. She is an inspiration to all of us writers over at eXtasy no matter what happens. The contest is close to finishing, its at Chapter Ten now. However there is still time to join the group and see if you all can win prizes.

Here's what is officially posted in eXtasy Chatters regarding the Clicherotica Contest:

Once Again: Book Chapter Contest and Introduction

Just a refresher for those coming in late. Also, since I slacked off last night, you get two chapters today instead of just one!Welcome to our Chapter Contest. I'd like to introduce you to a crazy bit of literature known as Clicherotica: The Adventures of the Vampire Bowling League.

What would possess this group of talented and intelligent authors to write something like that?

Their editor-in-chief.

Allow me to explain.

One night, on way too much sugar and caffeine and way too little sleep, a certain EEE had a brainstorm: Since normally one tries to write the BEST they can, what if you challenged those talented folk to write the WORST they can?

So she challenged them to a game of Chapter Tag. The rules were:

1. Each author wrote a single chapter, around two thousand words, then passed it on to the next author in line. The storyline was chosen by the author who started.

2. The authors were required to keep the action and characters consistent with the previous chapters and produce credible writing.

3. Now here's the clincher. Excluding writing issues, it needed to be bad. Cliches abounding. Purple prose appreciated. As many goofy plot points as could be squeezed in. Gratuitous sex scenes. As terrible as they could possibly make it.

Thus, Clicherotica was born. If it entertains, there may be more volumes, unless the authors lynch the EEE first.

So sit back and enjoy, chapter by chapter, when good authors go bad. Each chapter will have the author's name in anagram form for you to puzzle out. Don't forget to send your guesses on each chapter's author to eeestefkelsey@yahoo.com to be entered for a lovely prize basket of goodies. The more chapters you guess right, the more chances to win.

Good luck!

Hope that you all decide to take a chance and join the chatters group. You'll find plenty of authors hanging out there posting up interesting excerpts and tantalizing hints about upcoming books as well.

Website, Finally!

Yes, I finally have a website. I tried to do one over at the free one of hometown.aol.com and that is an unmitigated disaster. My suggestion: Don't try it unless you want hours of frustration and nothing accomplished. Believe me, there are some things better left not done.

Now all I have to do is figure out a way to create a list of author websites. Sure I know a lot of them, but trying to remember how they're spelled is mind-boggling. Guess I'll figure it out some way. Though it may take me some time. However I do have a website. That is the main thing.

No it still does not have a pic of me, however it does have a pic of the new cover for Statue of Zeus Through Time and that is over at Fictionwise. At least it will be at some point. Anyone interested can pop on over there and do a search for the title or the author. Either way works I believe.

Now that I've made this short announcement I'm going to go do some more work.

What is the latest I've done?

Well I entered this one Golden Stiletto contest for the fun of it. Its a little late because it began way back at the beginning of the month. What the hey, I figured I would join it. I did the mini-scene that went through email. I'm now working on the part that'll go into a file. Its got a working title called AquaTerra *shrugs* Dunno why I chose that. Guess it fits the subject matter. Though I'll likely change it later on.

What else have i done? Hmmm, not sure what I can put in, other than that I've been working on other novels/novellas in progress. I stopped them simply because this one yanked at my head. Then again I've still got others that I haven't even begun putting into file documents on the computer. Major slacker, one might say. However at least I understand why I'm doing this. *faint grin* Well this is just a late night post done out of boredom. I've hit a wall, a temporary one, but a wall none the less.
Hmmm...
Well, today had an iffy beginning but ironically they go better when that happens. When it starts off spectacular it usually ends in disaster. Oh wow, I rhymed. *Rolling eyes* I guess I shouldn't even be up at this hour. No telling what I might maunder on about. *sigh* Ah the life of an insomniac writer. *grin* Whelp, done for this time. I hope to update later on, when I can add links to the site and sooner or later have a website up and running. Not to mention getting my own computer. Eesh the time! Its a quarter to four in the morning. Going to head for bed and enjoy the quiet while it lasts. Never know if some road or building nearby will be sandblasted or have some other noisy equipment running at odd hours to wake up really grouchy to.

Hello Folks,

This is the first post that I am doing for this blog until I get used to it. Have a nice day.
